About

Hey, I’m Malen — triathlete mom, wife, and woman figuring out life one finish line (and laundry load) at a time.

I swim, bike, and run through early mornings, messy emotions, and motherhood — not always gracefully, but always wholeheartedly. I’m a non-pro athlete with a few proud podium finishes, a former dragon boat paddler, and a mom to a curious, witty 5-year-old who gives me more cardio than any race ever could.

This space is my open journal — a place for everything I feel: the post-race highs, the quiet grief of losing my dad, the chaos of love, the humor in exhaustion, and the strange beauty of just showing up.

I write about being a woman who is still learning — how to be strong without hardening, how to rest without guilt, and how to keep exploring who I am, even when life gets loud.

Some days I’m unstoppable. Other days I’m just trying to find matching socks. Either way, I’m here — running, laughing, crying, loving, and living with my whole heart.

Welcome to my corner of the internet — where sweat meets soul, and life is always a little messy but beautifully real.

Grab a coffee (or an electrolyte drink) and stay a while. 💫
